Last year the Roberts Centre accommodated over 400 children in our temporary accommodation in Portsmouth, in a year when there were over 70,000 homeless children in England.
Losing their homes and moving into temporary accommodation can be very confusing and upsetting for children, so we thought it would be helpful if we could give them a book with a story they could identify with, which would help them to make sense of their experiences.
