How to enrol

If you are interested in enrolling your child at Roberts Day Nursery, we’d love to hear from you.

Please contact us using the details below by either telephone or email. A member of our team will be happy to discuss availability, answer any questions you may have, and guide you through the enrolment process.

If you call us, you may be able to speak directly with a senior member of the nursery team if they are available. If not, a member of staff will take your details and ensure your enquiry is passed to the Nursery Manager, who will return your call as soon as possible.

If you choose to email us, please include the expression of interest form so we can process your enquiry as quickly as possible. 

Please note: Children are required to attend a minimum of two sessions per week.

What’s next

Once you’ve heard back from the Nursery Manager, you’ll be invited to arrange a pre-visit to the nursery.

A pre-visit gives you and your child the opportunity to explore the nursery, meet members of the team and see the environment to ensure it is right for your child and family . A senior member of staff will show you around, explain how the nursery operates and answer any questions you may have.

Once you have decided we are the right nursery for your family and a place has been confirmed, we’ll arrange your child’s settling-in sessions. We understand that every child is different, so these sessions are tailored to meet your child’s individual needs.

Your child’s first settling-in session can be attended alongside a parent or carer, or for confident children they can be left in our care for a short period of time to see how they settle. We are happy to offer a variety of settling-in sessions to help your child feel happy, safe and confident in their new environment. These sessions can range from 10 minutes to 1 hour, with the final session allowing your child to spend time independently at the nursery.

Throughout the process, you’ll have the opportunity to ask any questions, complete the necessary paperwork, and agree a suitable start date with the Nursery Manager. Our aim is to make the transition into nursery as smooth and positive as possible for both you and your child.
